Snow In Jerusalem

A rare snowstorm paralyzed Jerusalem, as stores did not open, electricity shut off, and roads were closed to traffic.

Despite the chaos, Tov V’Chesed’s indomitable volunteers rose to the challenge once again. They skidded and stumbled through the snow, first in vans, and then by foot, delivering food packages.

When Shabbos arrived in the white-blanketed city, each of our families had the food that they’d been counting on.
