This touching letter leaves us with nothing to add. We can only wish this father, and the rest of Klal Yisrael, never to have to experience the heartbreak of poverty.
“There is no blade of grass that doesn’t have an angel in heaven who taps it and tells it to grow”
Complete with happiness on Leil Shimurim, to conduct a Seder night with joy and gladness.
After tremendous effort, paying no heed to the toil and trouble involved, you worked day and night, and didn’t rest in order to bring help, support and happiness to thousands of families in the Yom Tov days, with everything they need.Your good heart doesn’t allow you to sit by your seder if there are thousands of families who don’t have with what to make Yom Tov. This dedication is symbolic of your great organization Tov V’Chesed.
R’ Yakov Eliezer: Do you mind if I ask you a personal question? Your organization grows and expands from day to day and from year to year, from where do you draw your strength?
I found the answer to this question in the sefer Ohr L’Shamayim (parshas Vayechi) and this is what it says there: Whoever does chesed with Yiddishe Kinder with all their might, groups of heavenly angels surround him and protect him from all harm.
The works of chesed that you perform with your entire being, without pausing to consider the many hardships, causes Hashem to notice and say: “R’ Yaakov Eliezer; you’re not alone. I am sending you my heavenly angels and they will surround you and they will tap your organization and say; ‘grow, grow’ ” and with Hashem’s help it will continue to grow and expand.
I want to add my Blessing as one of the many families [who benefit from Tov V’Chesed] that you should have
